By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws, and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Website. Using the online store gives you the status of Customer and implies your knowledge and acceptance, fully and without reservations, of all the provisions included in the General Terms & Conditions, and the Privacy Policy, in force at each time you access the website. We offer a variety of products, including roasted coffee beans and merchandise. Please note that product descriptions and images on the Website may vary slightly from the actual product. The prices in the catalog of the website www.gatolegalcoffee.com are presented in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate at the time of acquisition, to which will be included shipping costs.

The prices and product specifications contained in the website may be altered by Gato Legal Coffee Roastery ™ without previous notice.

For any divergence occurring in the contractual relations between the Parties, Portuguese law shall apply.

Any issue or dispute arising from the application, interpretation, integration or execution of this Agreement, when it cannot be resolved by agreement of the parties, will be submitted to the Portuguese courts, with the Judicial Court at the headquarters of Gato Legal Coffee Roastery ™  having jurisdiction, with express resign of any other.

The consumer may also address the Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities, available at www.consumidor.pt.

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may address the network of consumer dispute arbitration centres authorised to carry out information, mediation and arbitration activities in consumer disputes.

For this purpose, you can contact the CNIACC-National Center for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts (website: www.cniacc.pt).

Nevertheless it is the Customer’s knowledge that the usage of the online store might not be 100% secure, existing the possibility that information received/sent may be intercepted by unauthorised parties, and this cannot be attributed to Gato Legal Coffee Roasters ™.

 

The contractual proposal contained in the online store is aimed only at people of legal age, with the Customer accepting that it can only be used by users over the age of eighteen and/or with full contractual capacity and who, therefore, can be responsible for the commitments resulting from the buy and sell.

Order, Shipping and Delivery

Orders are accepted within Mainland Portugal, the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, as well as for other countries, inside and outside the European Union. Customers should verify the availability of shipping, when filling in the address.
 
The products presented in the online selection are limited to existing stock. In case of unavailability of any item, Gato Legal Coffee Roastery ™ will inform the Customer.
 
Shipping policies are detailed in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times and shipping fees are outlined in that document.
 
All information of the customer when registering to make the purchase must all be exact and truthful. The Client has the obligation to update the information provided, whenever it suffers any changes. The Customer takes responsibility for any false or inaccurate statements made and for the losses it causes to Gato Legal Coffee Roastery ™ or third parties, with the information that is provided.

In case of violation by the customer of the General Terms & Conditions, Gato Legal Coffee Roastery ™ reserves all the rights to take any and all legal action to enforce its rights.
 
The Customer undertakes to carefully verify the data mentioned on the order summary, confirming all products and services selected in the shopping cart, customers data, billing address. If an error is detected, customers must go back to the previous steps in order to rectify them.

Non-acceptance of the order

Gato Legal Coffee Roastery ™  reserves the right not to accept the order, informing the Customer, in the following cases:

a) Stock rupture;

b) Unavailability of the item;

c) Misconduct on the part of the Client;

d) Inconsistencies in the Client’s registered personal data;

Payment

Payments are made at the time of order confirmation. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Debit and most online forms of payment. All prices are in EURO€, and applicable taxes of Portugal will be added at checkout.

 

If the payment is not made during the 2 days, the order will be automatically canceled.
